Fly to Cuzco • Sacred Valley

Morning tour of Lima’s colonial centre. Afternoon flight to Cuzco and continue to the Sacred Valley for a 2-night stay at the Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba, offering superb views of the valley. (B)

Sacred Valley

Visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, an astounding feat of construction and ingenuity. Afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour to a local community, the Maras salt flats or the circular terraces at Moray. (B)

Machu Picchu

Drive to Ollanta and take the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu (or upgrade to the Belmond Hiram Bingham train). Tour the spectacular ruins and stay overnight at the Sumaq / Inkaterra Machu Picchu. (B, L, D)

Cuzco

Morning at leisure or further explore Machu Picchu (purchase ticket at time of booking). Return by rail to Cuzco and transfer to the Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, for 2 nights. (B)

Luxury train to Lake Titicaca

Board the luxurious Belmond Andean Explorer for a 2-night journey to Arequipa via Lake Titicaca. Relax over lunch as you pass high Andean peaks, mountain streams and cultivated terraces. Stop off at the pre-Incan site of Rachi and watch the sun set over La Raya mountain range.
