Holidays to Vietnam provide an insight into this rapidly developing destination. A colourful and diverse country, Vietnam features beautiful karst landscapes in Halong Bay, stepped rice paddies in the north, historic colonial towns, glorious beaches and the languid region of the Mekong delta. The cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh are steamy and frenetic, and easy to be caught up in.
There are numerous opportunities to explore the ancient and more recent history of Vietnam via French colonial buildings or landmarks like the Cu Chi Tunnels, and to meet the locals who, regardless of who you are or where you come from, welcome you with open arms.
Lastly, there is the remarkable cuisine; full of historical influences, it remains some of the most delicious food you can experience in the Far East.
