Begin in Chihuahua in the north. Visit Pancho Villa’s former home and the Museum of Revolution and stay overnight. (N)

Drive to Creel for an overnight stay, visiting via a Mennonite comunity en-route. (B)
Copper Canyon
Morning exploration of the pine forests and rock formations of Lake Arareco and nearby valleys. Also, visit the San Ignacio Jesuit mission and Tarahumara caves. Transfer by road to the stunning Copper Canyon. Stay at Posada Barrancas Mirador. (B, D)
Copper Canyon
Take a shared half-day walking tour. Visit the Divisadero outlook, with pure, crisp, clean air and incredible views across the Urique canyon, the deepest of the canyons in the area. (B, D)
El Fuerte
Board the Chihuahua Pacific Express train and descend by train through the Sierra Madre mountains to El Fuerte for an overnight stay. (B)
La Paz
Time at leisure to explore El Fuerte. Take a shared transfer to Los Mochis and take an overnight ferry (private cabin with air conditioning) across the Sea of Cortez to La Paz. (B)

Arrive in La Paz for a 2 night stay including immediate occupancy. Day at leisure. (B)

Take a shared boat trip to Espiritu Santo island to snorkel in the clear waters and look for sea lionsand blue-footed boobies. Between January and March it may be possible to spot blue whales. (B, L)
