From 4am Monday 4 October 2021, the rules for international travel to England will change from the red, amber, green traffic light system to a single red list of countries and simplified travel measures for arrivals from the rest of the world. The rules for travel from countries and territories not on the red list will depend on your vaccination status. More information can be found here.
The UK government traffic light system is applicable only for your return to England, a country’s status can change and each country will also have its own entry requirements. Please familiarise yourself with these requirements before you travel at the FCDO website here or speak to your travel specialist for more details.
Here is a useful tool from Visa Central that provides information on entering countries, as well as providing re-entry information for returning to your country of origin. In addition, it gives a brief summary of the in-country experience relating to local COVID-19 restrictions. Please also speak to one of our Travel Specialists if you require further assistance.
The following countries or territories have been listed as ‘green’ or ‘amber’ by the UK government. Each country will also have its own entry requirements. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with these requirements before you travel at the FCDO website here or speak to your travel specialist for more details.
As travel restrictions are gradually removed and the world begins to open up, we expect pent-up demand to create a rush to book the best hotels, tours and access to attractions – many of which have restricted visitor numbers. That’s why we advise planning well ahead and booking in advance, where possible.
