The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, formerly the Sofitel Metropole, is a French colonial-style hotel located in the heart of Hanoi. A historic city landmark, the hotel has hosted many illustrious guests, including Charlie Chaplin, who spent his honeymoon here, and the writers Somerset Maugham and Graham Greene, who both wrote here during their stays. Rooms and suites are spread over two wings: the Metropole wing, which offers the finest heritage accommodation in Hanoi's French quarter, and the Opera wing, with a neoclassical style, Sofitel MyBeds and high-tech fittings. The Metropole has three of the city's finest restaurants: Le Beaulieu serves French haute cuisine accompanied by a sommelier's fine wine pairings; taste authentic Vietnamese in the Spices Garden; or modern European dishes at Angelina. La Terrasse du Metropole is a Parisian-style cafe while Le Club has live music and cocktails. Features: 364 rooms, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, cafe, spa, gym. Room amenities: Television, ...
The Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery by Sofitel, is set on the banks of Thu Bon river next to the Ancient District. Rooms and suites are set over two wings, the Sotaro Wing and the Wakaku Wing, taking their names from the Japanese merchant Sotaro Araki and the Vietnamese Princess Wakaku, whose marriage in the 16th century is regarded as the first between a Vietnamese and foreigner. A blend of Japanese tradition and Indochinese luxury is apparent in the design and decor of both wings. The theme is continued in the cuisine on offer at the hotel's two restaurants, which includes the finest sushi and a range of authentic Vietnamese dishes.
Azerai La Residence is set within a restored colonial building that was once the part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure in the 1930s and has since been transformed into an art deco-style luxury hotel. Alongside the original structure are two complementary wings that were built in 2005, which are more contemporary in design but reflect the art deco aesthetics of the main building. The hotel has a prime location on the banks of the Perfume river, with expansive landscaped gardens and a salt water swimming pool. An excellent restaurant serving both Vietnamese and Western cuisine, and a French-Colonial style bar, complete the experience. Features: 122 rooms, Wi-Fi, outdoor swimming pool & pool bar, restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, fitness centre. Room amenities: Balcony, television, air conditioning, tea & coffee facilities.
The Caravelle Hotel is located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's business, shopping and nightlife district, set on the junction of Dong Khoi Street and Lam Son Square, overlooking the historic Saigon Opera House. The hotel is composed of two buildings: the original 10-floor Caravelle Hotel building that dates from 1959, and the 24-storey tower that was added in 1998. The hotel's rooftop, open-air bar has magnificent 360-degree views of the city.
