The Costa del Sol Wyndham Arequipa hotel (formerly Libertador) overlooks Selva Alegre, the city’s largest park, and has an imposing view of the Misti volcano. Its location is very quiet, yet the historic centre is a short drive or a 20-minute walk away. Built in 1940 in a colonial style, the hotel has a modern infrastructure and excellent facilities including a spa, gym and swimming pool. The restaurant serves typical Arequipena and international food, and guests can relax at the bar on the terrace by the pool and gardens.
