The best time to visit Guyana depends on where you are travelling.

Generally, the dry season runs from February to April, and then again from October to December, and this makes travelling around the interior by road an easier task.

Meanwhile, the end of the rainy seasons, which run from December to January and May to June are the ideal times to visit waterfalls, which will be all the more impressive. The rainy season is more humid, and rains are usually short and welcomed, as the temperature is consistently hot all year round. During this time, it is also easy to travel by boat in the interior as Guyana is linked by numerous rivers.
