Arrowpoint Nature Resort lies in the banks of the Kamuni Creek, one hour south of Georgetown. The property takes its name from the profusion of arrow trees that grow in the area and which are used by the native Amerindians to fashion hunting arrows. The lodge was built with help from the local craftsmen using timber and other natural materials from the surrounding area. There are eight simple and comfortable thatched-roofed cabins with private bathrooms. Local excursions include jungle walks, birdwatching and visits to the nearby village to see the production of local crafts and foods.
