Accommodation rating: Good Standard
Transfer: You will be met and taken to the lodge
The journey to the lodge is part of the experience. From Coca, board a large covered, motorized canoe for a two-hour trip downriver. Upon arriving at the Napo Wildlife Reserve, switch to smaller dugout canoes. You are paddled up the blackwater creek to the lake and lodge; no motorized transport is permitted on the lake so that the wildlife is not disturbed. This latter part of the journey can take from anywhere from one to three hours as on the creek you might see giant otters, kingfishers, jacamars, hawks or monkeys. Lunch is taken en route and you will arrive at the lodge sometime in the late afternoon.
All Transfers and excursions are on a shared basis.
