Hacienda Piman is a historic retreat nestled in an oasis-like valley amid the dry mountains in northern Ecuador, a short drive from the town of Ibarra. Owned by the same family since its inception, it serves as a great base for exploring the rich cultural and natural heritage of the surrounding area. Built in the late 17th century in a style more like that of estates in southern Colombia or Venezuela, it features an external patio running around the outside walls of the house and delightful gardens. Rooms are decorated with period furniture and antiques and are located in the main house while there are also cottages in the surrounding grounds. Features: 17 rooms (7 in the main house & 10 in cottages), restaurant, swimming pool. Room amenities: Television, safe, heating.
