Day 1: Fly to Cuzco via Bogotá

Overnight flight from London (regional connections available) to Cuzco via Bogotá with Avianca. (N)

Day 2: Sacred Valley

Late morning arrival in Cuzco, set in the Andes mountains. Transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas for a 2-night stay at the Casa Andina Premium. (N)

Day 3: Sacred Valley

Half-day tour of the town of Pisac and its indigenous market followed by a visit to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 4: Machu Picchu

Transfer to Ollanta station and board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Take a guided tour of the striking ruins. Overnight stay at El Mapi Hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Cuzco

    Vistadome Train

    The Vistadome train travels between Cuzco and Machu Picchu, through the dramatic natural scenery of the Sacred Valley, following the course of the Urubamba River. All carriages feature large panoramic windows, a new suspension system, air conditioning and heating. Large comfortable leather seats with fold away tables allow passengers to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery along the way. Complimentary snacks and drinks are provided onboard.
