Set within the stunning grounds of the Matetic Winery and surrounded by over 22 acres of woodland and vineyards, La Casona Matetic is an idyllic choice from which to enjoy the surrounding attractions. Explora Atacama is set just outside San Pedro de Atacama village in the driest desert in the world and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's facilities include spacious rooms with jacuzzis and large picture windows, gourmet cuisine and four connected swimming pools. Every evening, one of the bi-lingual guides meets with guests to plan the following day's excursions, including hiking, horse riding and cycling as well as drives into the surrounding desert to explore areas of archaeological, scenic and cultural interest.
