"Some excellent memories from each of the areas in Chile we visited – Santiago, the Atacama Desert, the Lake District, Torres del Paine National Park, Puerto Williams and Easter Island. The two highlights were Torres del Paine and Puerto Williams – in the former you felt as if you really were at the bottom of the world, almost like the outback in Australia. The daily activities in Puerto Williams were excellent.
Mr Brendan Fitzgerald"
"We experienced a wonderful holiday and a friendly group of travelling companions; it was good to be part of a small group with a considerate and efficient tour escort.
Mrs Brenda Everest"
"Three equally moving scenes - the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, the town of Cusco, and Machu Picchu. The trip brought out the rich, and extensive, cultural heritage of Peru through the variety of places that our tour included.
Mr Iain Sim"
"The first sight of Macchu Picchu through the clouds was amazing. The descending cloud made a magical place all the more mysterious and mystic. Truly magical experience.
Mrs Yvonne Thorp"
"The welcome and friendliness of the Chilean people coupled with their civilised attitude that is modelled on the UK, was inspirational. The scenery from the Atacama to Patagonia is just overwhelming.
Mr Derek Lester"
"The incredible scenery, particularly of the Atacama desert and the Torres del Paine Nat. Park. Seeing volcanos from the air and then driving/walking around them was amazing.
Mrs Caroline Roberts"
"Visit to Machu Picchu. Absolutely magical.
Mr George Hunter"
"Peru was definitely one of the highlights. On a tour such as the Grand Tour of South America there will be many highlights. One of the unexpected real highlights for me were the rail journeys in Peru. PeruRail are fantastic and the three rail journeys we took were amazing. Great fun, well organised and very good quality trains and staff.
Mrs Claire Lawley-Woods"
"The floating islands on lake titicaca were impressive. The views at Machu Piccu and Rio de Janerio were fantastic.
Mrs Hilary Reid"
"Going round the Grey Glacier in a boat and drinking a pisco sour with ice from the glacier (at least so we were assured!)
Mrs Alison Jamieson"
"There were absolutely no points in the holiday where I felt anything less than ravished by the scenery and captivated by the people and places we visited.
Mr Anthony Suggitt"
"Our trip to Peru was the most exciting, interesting holiday I have ever had – in fact it was a life-changing experience.
Ms Lucas"

"Almost too many [inspirational moments] to choose from - Lake Titicaca and its islands, Colca Canyon, Pre-Inca terraces, Alto Plano, native craftwork, Machu Picchu, Native South American peoples and their history, customs, values and characters, being at Machu Picchu on my 67th birthday...
Ms Lesley Evans"
