At 137 metres in length the Ocean Endeavour is a purpose-built vessel that is designed to explore remote environments with a maximum of 198 passengers. The ship’s shallow draft and good manoeuvrability means that bays, isolated fjords and secluded communities can easily be accessed. There are a range of cabin sizes, each offering a private bathroom, air conditioning and television. There is plenty of deck space to be enjoyed and facilities on board include a swimming pool, sauna, three lounges and a restaurant. Daily outdoor activities combine excursions on the fleets of Zodiacs, shore landings and hikes, while optional activities such as camping (Antarctica only), kayaking and snowshoeing are available on selected departures. Additional charges apply for camping and kayaking and pre-booking is essential.
