The geographic region of the South West covers Arizona, New Mexico and parts of California, Colorado, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. Two of its largest cities are Las Vegas and Phoenix, both of which provide the most common entry points for visitors from the UK. The South West is home to more than five national parks, exceptional wildlife and one of the largest geological formations on Earth. Hike up mighty mountains, look down on enchanting desert scenes, join an authentic cowboy experience, and learn about the traditions of one of the many indigenous tribes that call this land home. The sprawling landscapes, the big skies, the impressive rock formations and the deep history entice many to come and visit this part of the country.

"Varanasi is an assault on all senses - people, sound, noise smell, colour - and it is also a very spiritual place despite the huge crowds. Unmissable.

"Myself and my wife Sue would like to thank Cox & Kings for a wonderful and extremely well managed holiday in India. My wife was, to say the least, a little apprehensive at travelling within India but the entire experience proved to be absolutely magical and without any drama, due to the organisation and efforts of your staff along the way. We now consider India to be the best destination we have ever travelled to in a lifetime of exotic holidays!

"There were almost too many highlights to single out just one. However, I would have to include the first sight of the Taj Mahal in any shortlist. There were so many other wondrous buildings. We also greatly enjoyed the trip to the local village in Jaipur as it gave us a better insight as to how the rural community live.

"Registan Square in Samarkand - The sight was so extraordinarily beautiful it took our breath away, and we all stood silent for several minutes, just taking in the scene. I think this site is one of the wonders of the world.

"Overall, it was a real eye-opener on India - the place & the people - both in a good way. The Taj has to be the absolute highlight but many many other aspects were inspirational - it really is an Indian 'experience'!
