"Visiting Machu Picchu was particularly exciting as the setting is so strange and unworldly - and its resident population of llamas is very beguiling! Seeing the sun rise over Lake Titicaca was also unforgettable.
Mr Charles Cox"
"Our trip to Peru was the most exciting, interesting holiday I have ever had – in fact it was a life-changing experience.
"Our Private Journey trip to Nepal was absolutely wonderful. As a couple in our sixties, the trek was an experience of a lifetime. Although we did not reach great heights, we saw village life en route and enjoyed simply tremendous scenic views. Thank you very much for an extremely enjoyable holiday."
"Our tour in Mongolia was the most marvellous experience and a great adventure far exceeding expectations.

"Overall, it was a real eye-opener on India - the place & the people - both in a good way. The Taj has to be the absolute highlight but many many other aspects were inspirational - it really is an Indian 'experience'!
Ms Sheena Ellwood"
"There were so many highlights it is hard to mention just one. The visit to the gold treasury in the Hermitage was a highlight.
Miss Dorothy Betts"
"Early morning walks around the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, before the crowds. Meeting Father Ian Sherwood. In general, becoming aware of the tragedies affected the disenfranchised minorities in the Middle East & Central Asia, and how they are related to their shared religious and cultural histories.
Ms Pamela England"
"Every day I thought 'it couldn't get better than this' - but it did.
Mrs Jane Knight"
"This was a fabulous trip from beginning to end with charming and attentive local guides throughout and wonderful accommodation. The dawn balloon ride over Bagan was particularly magical as was the opportunity to get very close to the fishermen on Inle Lake – a photographer's dream!
Mr Peter Bradbrook"
"The unplanned and unexpected encounter with a traditional Burmese procession taking young boys to the monastery to become monks and girls to have their ears pierced. Half a mile long, it consisted of ridden horses, oxcarts, ponies & traps, elephants and motor vehicles, all festooned with flowers and gay decorations and accompanied by loud music. It was not in a tourist location and was by the locals, for the locals. Absolutely glorious.
Mr Jeremy Waters"
