Built by the Goulding family in 1928, this historical trading post now serves as a unique retreat around two kilometres from Mystery Valley, Arizona.
Accommodation ranges from standard queen-sized rooms to a three-bedroom stand-alone home. Each room features a flat-screen satellite television, mini fridge, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee machine, hairdryer, air-conditioning and heating, among other amenities.
Capturing the Frontier spirit, there is a small on-site theatre that regular screens classic cowboy films. Meanwhile, the lodge’s diner-style restaurant – raised on a red-rock slope – serves Southwestern and native Navajo cuisine with a view. Other facilities include a grocery shop and a laundromat.
