Located in the heart of Waikiki Beach, the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa was built in 1901 as Waikiki's first hotel and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as a historic Victorian landmark on Oahu. The hotel offers 793 well-appointed rooms with views of Waikiki city or of the Pacific Ocean, and many feature a balcony from which to view the panorama. Modern decor and Hawaiian influences adorn each room, many of which have private balconies and all having air conditioning, a flatscreen television and tea & coffee maker. There is a range of dining options available to guests from the Victorian afternoon teas available at the Banyan Veranda, offering a glimpse of yesteryear, to the beachfront international menu of the Beachhouse. Bin1901 is the signature restaurant, where a delicious evening menu is complemented by a selection of delightful wines. Alternatively, enjoy a light meal and sundowner at the Beach Bar under the shade of an ancient Banyan tree. Other hotel facilities include various water sports equipment, an outdoor swimming pool and Moanalani spa featuring 16 treatment rooms with large soaking tubs and balconies overlooking Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. A resort fee of US$31.41 (incl tax) per room, per day, is payable locally (subject to change).
