Nunavut The newest of Canada’s provinces, Nunavut is a vast region that split in 1999 from the Northwest Territories and is characterised by Arctic tundra. The region is best visited in summer, when it comes alive with wildlife: caribou does and their newborn calves, roaming black bears and muskox. Many migratory bird species make the offshore islands their home, including Canada geese and eider ducks.

"The whole holiday was excellent. I cannot think how you could improve upon the the service...this holiday was one of the best I can recall. Your ground agents at the airport in Amman for our return flight were excellent. They have obviously a great deal of experience and made the check-in procedure effortless.

"Many memorable moments but the best has to be the overnight cruise on Milford Sound on the Milford Mariner. It rained on the way to Milford Sound but it had stopped by mid afternoon and by early evening the weather was perfect. We went out on the tender in Harrison Cove and communed with the penguins on the shoreline as the sun went down - then back to the boat for an excellent dinner. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and good fun. The scenery was, of course, spectacular.
Ms Ann Abraham"

Mr and Mrs Moseley"
"We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and all travel connections worked perfectly.
"Most inspirational moment - Khiva - beautiful and unexpected although the people came close: friendly, interested proud of their country. Discussing jewellery, children and husbands with ladies selling bread in the market, and not a word of a common language between us, but we communicated just fine!
Mrs Jane Laver"
"The unplanned and unexpected encounter with a traditional Burmese procession taking young boys to the monastery to become monks and girls to have their ears pierced. Half a mile long, it consisted of ridden horses, oxcarts, ponies & traps, elephants and motor vehicles, all festooned with flowers and gay decorations and accompanied by loud music. It was not in a tourist location and was by the locals, for the locals. Absolutely glorious.
