The elegant Fairmont Royal York was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway and first opened in 1929. It is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, close to the harbour, and is a short walk from Union Station for all VIA rail services. The characterful property exudes old-world opulence, with guestrooms featuring traditional decor.
The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is located above the train station in the centre of Montreal's vibrant cultural and commercial district. The hotel is connected to an extensive underground city of boutiques, restaurants and cafes. This landmark property was the setting for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 'Bed-In for Peace' in 1969 where they held a non-violent protest in one of the suites. Refurbished in 2017, the hotel added further suites, a signature bar, restaurant and urban market, a wellness centre, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor terrace.
Possibly Canada's most photographed hotel, the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is situated on the top of the Cap Diamant cliffs, in the heart of the old walled city. This castle-like structure offers comfortable guestrooms and suites, each with traditional furnishings and decor, and some with superb views of St Lawrence river. Please note: The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is doing emergency masonry work in the south side of the hotel's main tower. There will also be scaffolding on the west side of the building, affecting approximately 85 rooms. Working hours will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The hotel is assigning these rooms last. Room assignment happens at check in and we cannot guarantee rooms not affected by this work. If clients do get assigned these rooms, there will be a welcome amenity and special privacy screens applied to the windows.
Built in 1912 to resemble a French chateau, the landmark Fairmont Chateau Laurier is located only steps away from the Parliament Buildings and a short walk from the National Art Gallery and the Museum of Civilization. The hotel offers a range of accommodation options, from comfortable Fairmont rooms to opulent suites, all with traditional luxurious decor and modern amenities. Features: 429 rooms, restaurant, bar, gym, indoor pool. Room amenities: Bathrobes, desk, air conditioning, hairdryer, kettle, television. Please note: The Junior Suites are closed for renovations. The work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8.00am-5.00pm. Carpet, paint and bathroom upgrades are the main items being worked on. Guest impact should be minor.
