The Hillhurst Inn was built as a family home in 1897 by Mr George 'Charlie' Longworth, a successful local businessman. In 2014 it was converted into a hotel, and remains one of the city's finest examples of Colonial Revival Architecture, with period furnishings, a collection of island art, and many pieces of furniture dating back to its original owners. The inn is located in the city centre, two blocks from theatres and the historic Great George Street.
