Half-day tour of Giza to see the Great Pyramids and Sphinx. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum for an afternoon guided tour. (B, L)

Fly to Aswan

Transfer to Cairo airport for a morning flight to Aswan. On arrival, transfer to the Sonesta St George I for a 3-night cruise. Visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Take a felucca trip on the Nile before returning to the boat for dinner. (B, L, D)

Kom Ombo • Edfu • Esna

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu and visit Edfu Temple. (B, L, D)

Luxor

Early morning sailing to Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank. (B, L, D)

Luxor • Fly to Cairo

Disembark in the morning. Visit Karnak and Luxor temples then transfer to Luxor airport for a flight to Cairo. On arrival, transfer to the InterContinental City Stars for an overnight stay. (B)

Fly to Amman, Jordan

Transfer to Cairo airport for a flight to Amman. On arrival, take a half-day city tour of Amman including the citadel with panoramic views of the city and the restored Roman theatre. Continue to InterContinental Amman for 1 night. (B)

Jerash • Madaba • Mount Nebo • Petra

Morning visit to the Graeco-Roman city of Jerash. Continue to Madaba and its Byzantine mosaic map of the region and Mount Nebo, from where Moses first viewed the Holy Land. After, visit Kerak castle, one of the largest and most complete castles in the Levant. Stay at the Mövenpick Resort Petra for 2 nights. (B)

Petra

Enjoy a full-day’s exploration of Petra. Walk through the Siq, the narrow gorge leading into the city, to the stunning Treasury. (B)

Wadi Rum • Dead Sea

Travel to the Dead Sea, stopping at Wadi Rum en route. Enjoy a 4×4 excursion into the heart of the desert, passing spectacular rock formations. Continue to the Dead Sea and check in to the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea for 2 nights. (B)
