The Movenpick Resort
The Movenpick Resort is located just outside the entrance to the site of Petra, nestled amongst the amber-hued sands and rocky outcrops. The resort features a combination of natural stone, handcrafted wood and Middle Eastern fabrics and textures with an oriental flair. The Movenpick’s Classic guestrooms overlook the courtyard, while Superior guestrooms have a balcony with mountain views. There are several food and beverage outlets including Mediterranean cuisine, a tea room, roof garden and an ice-cream counter. The hotel’s outdoor swimming pool is closed annually during the winter season, October to mid-May.
