Fly to Cairo and transfer to the Marriott Mena House or the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza for 3 nights. (N)

Giza

Morning tour of Giza to see the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. Afternoon at leisure or optional excursion to the stepped pyramid at Saqqara (payable locally). (B)

Cairo

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum, with its celebrated exhibition of Tutankhamun’s treasures. Afternoon exploration of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar and citadel. (B)

Fly to Luxor

Early morning flight to Luxor (flying time approx. 1 hour). Transfer to the luxury Oberoi Philae for a 4-night cruise to Aswan. Afternoon visit to Karnak temple complex and Luxor Museum. (B, L, D)

Luxor • Esna

Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, Dier el-Medina and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon, sail to Esna, where the boat will moor overnight. (B, L, D)

Edfu • Kom Ombo

Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus before continuing on to Kom Ombo. This evening, visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. (B, L, D)

Aswan

In the early morning, continue sailing to Aswan. On arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Lunch will be served on board the ship before an afternoon visit to the Nubian Museum by motor boat. (B, L, D)

Fly home via Cairo

Disembark in the morning and transfer to Aswan airport for a flight to Cairo and an onward flight home. (B)
