Morning tour of Giza to see the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Afternoon private tour of the Egyptian Museum including entry to the Royal Mummy Room. (B)
Fly to Luxor
Early morning flight to Luxor. Board the Karnak Dahabiya for a 5-night cruise. This upscale dahabiya is elegantly decorated and provides an intimate cruising experience. Visit the Karnak Temple complex and Valley of the Kings. (D)
Luxor • Esna
Visit El-Kaab before enjoying lunch on board while sailing to Edfu. In the afternoon, visit Edfu Temple before a barbecue on Fawaza Island. (B, L, D)
Edfu • Kom Ombo
Sail towards Bassaw, and visit the small village that is relatively untouched by tourism. Lunch while sailing to Djebel Silsila. This afternoon, visit the temple of Horemheb. (B, L, D)
Aswan
Visit the unusual double temple of Kom Ombo. After this, sail towards Herdiab Village. This afternoon, visit the village which is one of the oldest on the Nile and learn how the village has maintained the authentic ways of farming. Dinner will be served on Herdiab Island. (B, L, D)

Sail towards Aswan. Visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was moved by UNESCO between 1972 and 1980 to protect it from the rising Nile water. This evening, witness the 'Sound & Light show' at Philae Temple. (B, L, D)

Disembark this morning and transfer to Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, a colonial-era property, for a 2-night stay. (B)

Day at leisure. Optional activities include visiting a Nubian village and the local bazaars (additional cost).
Fly home via Cairo
