Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge is just half an hour's drive from Pokhara in western Nepal. Situated on a spectacular hilltop ridge a thousand feet (305m) above the Pokhara Valley, it has panoramic mountain views of Machhapuchhare, and three of the world's 8,000m (> 26,000ft) Himalayan peaks, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. Rooms are arranged around the hilltop in hand-cut stone bungalows. All the rooms have a spacious verandas, adjoining bathroom and are furnished with a twin or king sized beds. Fresh herbs and salads come from the Lodge's own organic gardens. Fruits and vegetables are grown in the village. Breakfast is in the English tradition and lunch is a Nepali buffet of a range of authentic dishes using local spices. An alternate light lunch of fresh salads and soups is available on request. Dinner is a daily changing table d'hôte menu including traditional European and British cuisine.

Located in Lakeside, the tourist hub of Pokhara, Temple Tree resort is ideally situated near all the restaurants and shops in this area as well as being a short walk from the scenic Lake Phewa. Each of the 47 comfortably furnished rooms has its own small private terrace or balcony and looks on to the landscaped grounds. Facilities include two restaurants, a bar, infinity pool and spa.

Perched on a ridge above the pristine Phewa Lake and the picturesque Pokhara valley, Raniban Retreat, set at an altitude of 1,492 metres, offers panoramic views of the mighty Annapurna range. Its tranquil setting away from the tourist crowd makes it an ideal base to relax either before or after a trek through the foothills of the Annapurna range. The retreat features 12 simple yet elegantly furnished lodges with some offering direct views of the mountains and the others offering either a partial view of the mountains, the Pokhara valley or the grounds in which the retreat is set. Facilities include a restaurant that serves Nepalese and international cuisine, a bar and a meditation room. The secluded location means access to the retreat is through a dirt road followed by a climb of nearly 400 steps. Alternatively, the more active guests have the choice of taking the hour long trek from the Pokhara Valley through the World Peace Stupa to the Raniban Retreat.

The Sanctuary Lodge is situated on a promontory overlooking the Modi river at an altitude of 1,100m (3,600ft). It is 30 minutes easy walking from the scenic village of Birethanti, which straddles the ancient trading route to and from Tibet. The lodge has 800m (2,625ft) of river frontage and dramatic views of the magnificent, sacred and unclimbed 6,995-metre (23,000ft) Fishtail mountain, or Machhapuchhre. The lodge has been hand-built by local craftsmen to a traditional Nepalese design. Accommodation consists of 10 spacious, comfortably furnished twin bedrooms, each with a private en suite bathroom featuring flush toilets, solar-powered hot and cold running water and a generator for electricity. The Himalaya Lodge is situated on the higher terraces of Ghandruk at an altitude of 2,000m (6,500ft) and overlooks the old quarter. Ghandruk is famed for its close proximity and spectacular views of the mountains as well as its connections with the Gurkha regiments. The lodge is built around a 150-year-old Gurung village house, which now serves as the dining room and main reception area. Built in traditional style, an attractive eight-bedroom wing has been added with a covered veranda.
