Owned and run by Everest Summit Lodges of Nepal, Summit Lodge (previously Brigand's Bend Lodge) is a small hotel situated just outside the village of Kurintar. Perched on a ridge amid tropical forested hills, the property has views out over the sand beaches of the Trisuli River below. This colonial-style bungalow contains six comfortable guest rooms with en-suite facilities and simple décor. The lodge has a restaurant serving a daily set menu, and local activities include nature walks and a visit to the Manakamana Temple. The access to this lodge involves crossing a suspended iron bridge on foot and trekking through paddy fields, banana plantations and a local village. The walk on its own is a pleasant experience and usually takes between 30 - 45 minutes from the main road. Your bags will be carried by the porters.
