"[Inspirational moments include the] dawn boat ride at Varanasi, walking out to see the Taj Mahal early morning and the lakes at Udaipur.

"The ordinary people of India were an inspiration in themselves with their poise, dignity and friendliness in difficult living conditions.
Mr Robin Ross"
"The whole holiday was wonderful from start to finish. Two moments stand out in particular – first was seeing a mother tiger and her three cubs in the wild while on safari, second was a visit to the Taj Mahal.
Mr Robert McIlwaine"
"Words could not describe the elation and incredible time we spent in India and Bhutan. No one could ever cap that. Thank you so much for all your efforts.

"There were almost too many to mention; Holi festival was amazing, sights in Rajastan were just as I imagined them to be. I appreciated the visits to Bishnoi villages, a good opportunity to see rural life. I also appreciated the excellent room at the Taj Palace in Mumbai. As a single traveller I often find that the rooms I am given are inferior, despite the supplement charged; this was not the case on this holiday.

"Yogesh, our tour guide really made this holiday for us. He was an excellent guide and he's a huge asset to Cox and Kings. He was very informative about life in India and was extremely knowledgeable. The most inspirational moment of the holiday was visiting the Taj Mahal. Somewhere I've been wanting to visit for years and it was even more magical than I'd expected.

"We arrived back to London yesterday, to find (of course) a huge pile of work to cope with, but we wanted to let you know immediately that your advice and assistance with the planning of our trip to India - combined with expertise and enthusiasm of the local Cox & Kings teams in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Shimla - resulted in a most interesting, rewarding and enjoyable experience for all three of us.
Lord Tyler"
"The whole India experience was amazing but nothing prepares you for your first sight of the Taj Mahal and sunrise.
Mr Tony Dellow"
"In the Udawalawe National Park the wild elephants, several females with two babies, came right up to the jeep and continued to feed beside us without moving away. It was lovely seeing the elephants at the orphanage too, but a sight I shall not forget was watching a young one standing at the bottom of the slipway, crossing his front legs back and forth in time to the beat of the music coming from a restaurant nearby. He was dancing for fun!

"We are just returned from a magical trip to Sri Lanka. The whole trip was beautifully organised from end to end and the quality of the hotels was astounding. Cox & Kings have really excelled in this holiday and the Sri Lankan hotels were of the best. We greatly enjoyed the train trip out of Kandy – even more so when, in exchange for a small gift, we were both invited in to the drivers cab for the most spectacular section of the journey. Thank you again for a memorable trip, faultless from end to end.
George and Sue Langton"
"Seeing the Himalayas emerge from the cloud and trekking in the Himalayas was awe inspiring.
Ms Christine Smith"
"I have longed to visit Gwalior fort and Bundi town since I saw pictures of both in an Insight guide to India over 20 years ago. Gwalior fort is spectacular - rising above the clean and organised town of Gwalior- it is breathtakingly majestic yet delicately beautiful with its stunning yellow, blue and iridescent turquoise tile work stretching into the distance along the perimeter wall. The interior was a surprise - incredibly well preserved in parts with exquisite carvings and evidence of sophisticated cooling and sound systems. Exceeded expectations! To finally see the romantically beautiful town of Bundi was a dream come true - a secret treasure trove of golden walls housing stunning artwork amidst crumbling ruins, Sadly neglected and in desperate need of Unesco intervention to save one of the most exquisite palace complexes in Rajasthan.
Mrs Julia Mitchell"
"The holiday was superb. Everything was perfect: nobody could have wished for a better honeymoon. Our driver was excellent and it felt very luxurious being driven around. He was very courteous and looked after us so well - far above and beyond the call of duty.

"The most inspirational moment was when we reached the summit of Sigiriya and viewed the wonderful vista. I would urge anyone who visits Sri Lanka not to miss this. It is truly worthwhile.
