"Having tea with a Maharjah. Lucky to travel at Holi time and enjoy the festivities.

"Our Private Journey trip to Nepal was absolutely wonderful. As a couple in our sixties, the trek was an experience of a lifetime. Although we did not reach great heights, we saw village life en route and enjoyed simply tremendous scenic views. Thank you very much for an extremely enjoyable holiday."
"The most inspirational moment was when we reached the summit of Sigiriya and viewed the wonderful vista. I would urge anyone who visits Sri Lanka not to miss this. It is truly worthwhile.
Dr David Rainford"
"Our guide Bhavari added to our enjoyment of the Amber Fort by telling us all about the historical background and explaining his own views. Rattan our guide in Delhi was also excellent. He is 75 and traced the huge changes he has seen in India through his own life story.

"There were almost too many highlights to single out just one. However, I would have to include the first sight of the Taj Mahal in any shortlist. There were so many other wondrous buildings. We also greatly enjoyed the trip to the local village in Jaipur as it gave us a better insight as to how the rural community live.
Mrs Gwendoline Wilkins"
"The first sight of the Taj Mahal was a really magical experience.

"In the Udawalawe National Park the wild elephants, several females with two babies, came right up to the jeep and continued to feed beside us without moving away. It was lovely seeing the elephants at the orphanage too, but a sight I shall not forget was watching a young one standing at the bottom of the slipway, crossing his front legs back and forth in time to the beat of the music coming from a restaurant nearby. He was dancing for fun!

"We arrived back to London yesterday, to find (of course) a huge pile of work to cope with, but we wanted to let you know immediately that your advice and assistance with the planning of our trip to India - combined with expertise and enthusiasm of the local Cox & Kings teams in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Shimla - resulted in a most interesting, rewarding and enjoyable experience for all three of us.
Lord Tyler"
"The ordinary people of India were an inspiration in themselves with their poise, dignity and friendliness in difficult living conditions.
Mr Robin Ross"
"It was all incredible and the organisation was excellent. The knowledge of the guides made the holiday inspirational for we were taken back in time and had a glorious picture painted of the Moghul era and Rajput era. The guide for the taj mahal was inspired and we were caught up in the romance and historical truths. In Jaipur the Amber fort was described superbly as well as Fatehpur Sikri. The excellence of the Delhi guide has stayed with us into our long term memory. This is a standard of high scholarship and deeply engaging presentation.
Mrs Kiron Wilcox"
"As a couple in our sixties, the trek was an experience of a lifetime. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our fantastic guide Prem - his local knowledge and his enthusiasm simply made the holiday perfect. Thank you very much for an extremely enjoyable holiday.
Mrs Hiller"
"We would recommend this holiday to anyone wanting to visit India.
Dr Leslie Wills"
"I had a wonderful trip to India. It surpassed all expectations. From start to finish it was a flawless execution. The organisation was superb at all levels.
Mr Digges"
"There were several inspirational moments - the visit to the temple of the Tooth in Kandy, the visit to Yala national park and the ascent of Sigirya. If I had to choose one it would be the leopard sighting at Yala.
Mr Niall Bowser"
