Morning visit to the exquisite Jain temples at Ranakpur, where despite being nearly 500 years old, the temples are in almost perfect condition. The central Chaumukha Temple has 29 halls supported by 1,444 carved marble pillars. Continue to Narlai for an overnight stay at Rawla Narlai and a stepwell dinner. (B)

Morning visit to the impressive Kumbhalgarh Fort. Towering above the landscape at 3,568 feet, the surrounding walls extend to 23 miles. It is said to be the longest in the world after the Great Wall of China. Continue to Deogarh for 2 nights at the family run Dev Shree. (B, D)
