Tour Old Delhi by rickshaw. Stop for lunch in Connaught Place before heading to the centre of Lutyens’ Delhi to see the President’s Palace and India Gate. Visit the medieval Haus Khas district for dinner with its array of restaurants and quirky shops. (B)

Fly to Varanasi

Morning flight to Varanasi. Stay at the Taj Ganges for 1 night. Afternoon walking tour of the northern bazaars and hidden alleys. This evening, witness the Ganga aarti ceremony from a boat on the Ganges. (B)

Travel by rail and road to Khajuraho for two nights at the Radisson. Explore Khajuraho’s majestic temples with their exquisite carvings. (B)

Orchha • Agra
