The House of M.G. is a 20th century mansion that has been carefully converted into a boutique hotel. It is conveniently located with easy access to the old walled city and the markets. Every inch of the hotel is different and the architecture is a confluence of different styles influenced in part by traditional Gujarati design. The rooms are striking and the personalised touches in each of the rooms make them unique. The Agashiye Restaurant is very popular for fine Gujarati dining. Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool, health club and a coffee bar.
Situated near the village of Dasada, a few minutes from the entrance of the Little Rann of Kutch sanctuary, Rann Riders is an eco-friendly resort designed using local materials to recreate a village atmosphere. The cottages, comfortably furnished and decorated with mirrors and mud-plaster work, resemble traditional village huts/houses of the local community. Facilities include a swimming pool and a dining room.
Once the summer residence of the prime minister of the princely state of Marwar, Connaught House, a modest yet charming colonial style cottage, is set among a mature garden and is only a short walk away from the town of Mount Abu. Each of the 10 rooms is simply furnished and tastefully decorated in neutral colours. Facilities include a dining room that serves Indian as well as international cuisine, and a small gymnasium.
