Day 2: DelhiArrive and transfer to the Trident Gurgaon in New Delhi for an overnight stay. (N)
Day 3: Board the Deccan OdysseyThis evening, join the Deccan Odyssey for a 7-night journey. (B, D)
Day 4: RanthamboreArrive in Ranthambore and venture out on an early morning wildlife safari. In the afternoon, enjoy a village tour. After high tea at Sawai Madhopur Lodge, the train will continue onwards to Agra. (B, L, D)
Day 5: AgraArrive into Agra, the former Mughal capital. Visit the majestic Taj Mahal and other architectural gems of the Mughal empire including the Agra Fort. (B, L, D)
Day 6: JaipurExplore the forts and palaces of the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, including a walk through the colourful bazaars. (B, L, D)
Day 7: UdaipurArrive into Udaipur this morning and visit the magnificent City Palace complex. Later, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. In the afternoon, enjoy a heritage walk through the markets of Udaipur. (B, L, D)
Day 8: VadodaraArrive in Vadodara. Visit the world heritagerecognised Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, the Jami Masjid mosque and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. Later today, enjoy a folk dance performance and dine on an array of delicacies from the royal kitchens at the Laxmi Vilas Palace. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Aurangabad • Ellora cave templesMorning arrival in Aurangabad and spend some time at leisure. In the afternoon, visit the world heritage-listed Ellora cave temples: rock cut shrines that represent Buddhist, Hindu and Jain forms of art. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Disembark in MumbaiMorning arrival in Mumbai (Bombay), where you will disembark. Continue to The Trident Mumbai for an overnight stay. (B)

Towering above the skyline and overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Trident Nariman Point is located in the heart of Mumbai's central business district with the city's main shopping area only a short distance away. It offers 575 well appointed guest rooms, many offering ocean views and broadband and internet access. Facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, two fitness centres, five restaurants, two bars and the largest indoor shopping arcade in India.
Set in seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the Trident Gurgaon is characterised by domes, long walkways, inner courtyards, reflection pools and fountains. The hotel has 136 rooms, which include a Presidential suite and six executive suites, overlooking the garden, courtyards and pools.
The Deccan Odyssey train comprises 12 air-conditioned deluxe saloons. Guests are accommodated in fully air-conditioned, spacious and comfortably furnished carriages, each carriage featuring four twin- / double-bed cabins complete with modern en suite facilities. The cabins are furnished with essential modern conveniences including a flat-screen television and a telephone. The bar car provides an ideal setting for a leisurely drink after a day's sightseeing and a comfortable place to relax and meet fellow passengers. On board, guests can take advantage of the spa car, which has been set aside for relaxation and rejuvenation. The Deccan Odyssey also features two restaurant cars serving an array of superb Indian and international cuisine. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the train.
