Day 1: Fly to Kochi

Overnight flight to Kochi (Cochin). (N)

Day 2: Kochi

Transfer to historical Fort Kochi for 2 nights at Malabar House. Walk or cycle through the picturesque lanes, visiting Gujarati Street, famous for its sweets, and the spice markets. (N)

Day 3: Kochi

Visit hidden Kochi, taking in the Dutch Palace and see the dhobi wallahs in action. Endless rows of shops sell everything from lamps to fragrant spices and intricate lacework. Uncover a bygone era of basilicas, visit local children in a school and the Jewish synagogue, built in 1568. (B)

Day 4: Kanam

Travel through lush green tropical landscape and rice fields, and stay 2 nights at Kanam Estate. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Kanam

For all other departure dates, once the minimum number of people booked has been reached, this tour is also guaranteed to run.
