Superior Private Tour in brief

Days 1-2: Fly to Delhi

Fly to Delhi and transfer to the Pride Plaza for 1 night. Explore some of the capital’s lesser-visited sights including Hauz Khas, Agrasen-ki Baoli and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. (N)

Day 3: Bandhavgarh National Park

Fly to Jabalpur before driving to Bandhavgarh, home to one of India’s highest tiger populations. Stay 2 nights at the Bandhav Vilas. (B, D)

Day 4: Bandhavgarh National Park

Early morning and afternoon 4×4 safaris in search of tigers. (B, L, D)

Days 5-6: Panna National Park

Drive to Panna and transfer to the Sarai at Toria for a 2-night stay. Day excursion to Panna National Park with its population of tigers, leopards and nilgais. Stop at the Ken River Lodge for lunch. (B) (B, L)

Day 7: Khajuraho • Varanasi

Explore Khajuraho’s majestic temples with their exquisite carvings. This afternoon, fly to Varanasi for a 2-night stay at the Suryauday Haveli. This evening, observe an aarti ceremony. (B)

Day 8: Varanasi

Morning boat ride on the Ganges then visit the Brijrama Palace for breakfast overlooking the river. Afternoon tour of Sarnath. (B)

Day 9: Lucknow

Morning train to Lucknow for a 2-night stay at the Taj Mahal Lucknow. Early evening heritage and culinary walk. (B)

Day 10: Lucknow

Explore Lucknow’s key sites including the Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara and La Martinière College. (B)

Day 11: Dudhwa National Park

Morning drive to Dudhwa National Park, home to tigers, one-horned rhinos and Gangetic dolphins. 3 nights at the Jaagir Lodge. (B, D)

Day 12: Dudhwa National Park

Morning 4×4 safari. Afternoon at leisure for further safaris, village walks, photography classes or interactive culinary lessons. (B, L, D)

Day 13: Dudhwa National Park • Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary

Morning 4×4 safari at the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, inhabited by tigers, swamp deer and an array of birdlife. (B, L, D)

Days 14-15: Fly to Delhi • Fly home

Return to Lucknow and fly to Delhi for an overnight stay at the Pullman Aerocity. Fly home the following day. (B, L) (B)

The restaurant serves vegetarian food only and does not have a menu -guests are usually treated to a daily menu from the chef. The Suryauday Haveli does not serve alcohol.
