Rann Riders Eco-Resort. En route, visit the
Modhera sun temple, built in 1026; the Raniki-

Drive to Gogunda for 2 nights at Gogunda
Palace, a 16th-century fortress and secret gem
located in the Aravalli hills. Lunch in the palace

Morning at leisure or stroll through the local
village, experience rural life on a nearby farm
or explore the area by bicycle. Afternoon
sightseeing tour in the lakeside city of Udaipur.
Visit the City Palace and wander through the
streets of the old town before taking a sunset

Depart for a 2-night stay at Rawla Jojowar set
in the Aravalli hills and once a garrison fort

ride to Kambli Ghat interacting with the chatty

Drive to the ‘Golden City’ of Jaisalmer for a
2-night stay at the Gorbandh Palace. The
following morning enjoy a sightseeing tour
including Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar lake, Patwonki-
haveli, Sadar Bazar and Desert National
Park. Time at leisure to explore the hidden
alleys and backstreets of the Golden City. (B)
Travel to Bikaner for an overnight stay at
Narendra Bhawan (or similar). En route, visit
the ‘salt city’ of Phalodi known for its giant salt
lake. Lunch at a 250-year-old haveli before
heading to the charming Khichan village, home
to thousands of migratory birds including

Morning tuk-tuk ride through the old town
and visit the Junagarh Fort before heading
to the Shekawati region, known as India’s
‘open-air art gallery’. Overnight stay at

hearing the stories behind the exquisite wall
frescoes. After lunch, travel to Delhi for an
