Vivanta by Taj - Sawai Madhopur Lodge was built in the 1930s by Maharajah Sawai Man Singh-II for his personal use on hunting trips to the forest, a favourite pastime of the royal family of Jaipur. Set amid 5 hectares of spacious gardens, the lodge is a 20-minute drive from Ranthambore National Park, which is world famous for its tiger population. All 36 rooms and suites are elegantly designed, offering modern day comfort and overlook either the lush garden or the front lawns. The options for relaxation within the lodge are many and include tennis, croquet and table tennis.
