The Raj Palace was the first mansion in Jaipur and was built in 1728 by the Prime Minister of the Raj, Thakur Mohan Singhji of Chaumoo. In 1997 the family renovated the elaborate complex of courtyards, arched corridors and residential quarters to restore the mansion to its original glory. It is situated on the main Jaipur-Delhi Road and is only about 0.5 km away from the Jaipur-Agra Highway. All guest rooms have telephone, mini bar, hair dryer, cable television and an attached bathroom.
