Situated on golden sands in a sleepy fishing village between Kochi (Cochin) and Alleppey, the Marari Beach Resort is spread over 12 hectares of coconut groves, lily ponds, fruit trees and a large organic farm. The thatched cottages and pool villas reflect a village theme and feature open-air bathrooms and modern amenities. There are two excellent restaurants , one serving buffet-style Indian and international cuisine and the other specialising in excellent seafood. There are many excursions that can be taken from the hotel including trips to watch local fisherman at work, culinary classes and nature walks.
