Accommodation rating:

Set within 40 hectares of mature woodland and lush green lawns, Jambughoda Palace, the family home of the descendants of the Parmar dynasty, is conveniently located to visit the Jambughoda wildlife sanctuary, the world heritage site of Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, and the Rathwa tribal village. Guests are accommodated in the annexe, which consists of 20 spacious, simply furnished rooms overlooking the garden. At Jambughoda, the simple home-cooked meals are prepared using local produce including herbs and vegetables from the estate. There is no menu as such and food is usually served outdoors on the lawn. This hotel should be regarded as simple.
