Fort Dhariyawad was constructed in the 16th century at the behest of Sahasmal, the second son of the greatest warrior of the Mewar region, Maharana Pratap. The fort, bordered by the Aravali Hills, has now been converted into a simple, heritage hotel and the ensuite rooms retain their traditional Rajasthani ambience.
