Accommodation rating: Good Standard

Once the royal residence of the Waghelas, who ruled Poshina and the surrounding region, the Darbargdh Poshina is a 17th-century manor house that has been sympathetically converted into a simple, rustic yet charming heritage hotel. The property retains many of its original features and each of the 25 rooms has its own individual style, simply furnished using period furniture. The gracious hosts, scions of the Waghela dynasty, can often be seen engaging with guests and playing an active role in the day-to-day management of the hotel. Facilities at this hotel include a dining area that serves Indian as well as western cuisine (on prior request). This hotel has plenty of charm and character, but should be regarded as simple and basic.
