The best time to visit Mauritius

The best time to visit Mauritius is generally from July to September, which sees comfortable temperatures and the lowest rainfall, though Mauritius is a year-round destination.

Rainfall is at its highest from January to May, when temperatures are at their peak. The cyclone season runs from November through to March, although a direct strike is a rarity.

It is essential to book well ahead for visits over Christmas and New Year.
