"We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Havana and Trinidad. Trinidad in particular was small and colourful with lots of music and good restaurants. We had a dance at our morning coffee/cocktail stop which was fun and enjoyable. The thing we will remember most about our trip to Cuba was the music everywhere at all times and of course the cocktails!

"We cannot fault any part of the holiday, everything ran as smoothly as it could. The accomodation and the tour guide were excellent and we would dearly love to travel with Cox & Kings again. One of the many highlights were the hotels which were stunning, as well as the trip in Ha Long Bay and the attention to detail. Many thanks for the room upgrades and little extras we received in recognition of our wedding anniversary.

"Seeing Petra for real was wonderful, as was the Wadi Rum driving experience.
Mrs Elspeth Dick"
"The incredible scenery, particularly of the Atacama desert and the Torres del Paine Nat. Park. Seeing volcanos from the air and then driving/walking around them was amazing.
Mrs Caroline Roberts"
"The whole Explora experience really is something special and I think pretty good value for money. I was the only person doing the Travesia from El Chalten to Torres del Paine - it was fantastic!

"The trip you arranged for us was brilliant and everything you arranged not only ran smoothly but the quality of service was exceptional. Thanks so much for you patience and efficient help and for arranging a perfect itinerary.

"Most inspirational moment - Khiva - beautiful and unexpected although the people came close: friendly, interested proud of their country. Discussing jewellery, children and husbands with ladies selling bread in the market, and not a word of a common language between us, but we communicated just fine!
Mrs Jane Laver"
"This was a fabulous trip from beginning to end with charming and attentive local guides throughout and wonderful accommodation. The dawn balloon ride over Bagan was particularly magical as was the opportunity to get very close to the fishermen on Inle Lake – a photographer's dream!

"There were lots of high points - the Terracotta warriors, the pandas - but my wife's best moment was standing on the Great Wall, and reflecting on what had gone into building it. Mine was the spectacular scenery of the Goddess Stream during our Yangtse river trip.
Mr Andrew Slater"
"I think Victoria Falls and then Bumi Hills resort were, without doubt, the highlights of the trip - which was a really fabulous trip.
Mr Steven Wigg"
"The high plains (Alto Plano) were fantastic to experience and to see the people who survived there. View down into Chivay was very impressive. Drive up to Macchu Pichu was hairy but well worth it - the views were breathtaking at the top. Train from Puno to Cusco was very very enjoyable. We were not looking forward to a 10 hour train ride but thoroughly enjoyed it. Peru Rail staff very well turned out and very helpful and service on train excellent.

"The most inspirational moment was impossible to define - so many interesting and beautiful places including of course Machu Picchu.

"Walking in the snow at the bottom of the mid Atlantic Ridge, with the Eur-Asian tectonic plate on one side and the American plate on the other side of the valley. Also seeing the Northern Lights was an absolutely amazing, primeval experience, which ranked with seeing Wolves, Bears and Buffaloes in the wild in Yellowstone on a different adventure. Always wanted to do this, along with walking through a real Arctic storm, which we did.
