"There were several 'wow' moments but possibly the most inspirational was the first glimpse of the Treasury in Petra as you come out of the Siq.

"Ethiopia is an absolutely fascinating country - one which fully deserves to be known better. The infrastructure details were accurately described in your brochure, and any shortcomings were made up with the richness of historical culture offered to us. Thank you for a brilliant holiday.

"Every day I thought 'it couldn't get better than this' - but it did.

"Being in the desert was the most inspirational - quite spectacular. Loved being taken out to the top of a sand dune to watch the setting sun. Particularly liked The View hotel - excellent accommodation and meals.

"We had an outstanding trip and our travel needs were handled very efficiently.

"We are experienced travellers and always looking for something a little different. We thought Ethiopia Odyssey was beyond our expectations and to see so many different Unesco World Heritage Sites in one holiday was exceptional. The wildlife content was unexpected and to see so many different types during such a short holiday was surprising. Would recommend Cox & Kings to others and congratulate them for putting together our holiday - the literature and the tour manager were first class.

"isits to the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, Temples of Hatshepsut, Karnac and Luxor, and the Egyptian Museum at Cairo were a 'not to be missed' lifetime experience. The Mirage 1 was a clean and efficient boat with a colonial style and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Everyone was amazingly attentive, punctual and friendly. One of our best holidays ever. Really it was a great adventure - thank you Cox & Kings.
Mr Michael Sumpster"
"Peru was definitely one of the highlights. On a tour such as the Grand Tour of South America there will be many highlights. One of the unexpected real highlights for me were the rail journeys in Peru. PeruRail are fantastic and the three rail journeys we took were amazing. Great fun, well organised and very good quality trains and staff.
Mrs Claire Lawley-Woods"
"We cannot fault any part of the holiday, everything ran as smoothly as it could. The accomodation and the tour guide were excellent and we would dearly love to travel with Cox & Kings again. One of the many highlights were the hotels which were stunning, as well as the trip in Ha Long Bay and the attention to detail. Many thanks for the room upgrades and little extras we received in recognition of our wedding anniversary.
Mr and Mrs Keith"
"It's difficult to pick an individual moment. The whole visit was so exceptionally interesting, demanding, informative, thought-provoking... The boat trip on the Neva was dramatic and evocative, the view across St Petersburg (I felt I could see all the way to the Baltic) on the first evening from the hotel restaurant on the 9th floor, the Faberge eggs.... all the places were stunning in different ways.
Mrs Barbara Minovi"
"Our trip to Guatemala was a great success. Thanks for organising such a great itinerary. There was plenty of contrasts, changes of pace etc to ensure there was always something of interest without being rushed around from sight to sight.

"Apart from the beauty of Costa Rica as a whole, I really enjoyed the Panama Canal trip and then visiting the Miraflores Locks the following day. Having learned about it as a child, it was just great to experience it 'for real'. It was fascinating to see everything working in virtually the same way as it has done for the past 100 years! I found the the museum/information centre excellent.
Ms Merryl Graham"
"There were almost too many to mention; Holi festival was amazing, sights in Rajastan were just as I imagined them to be. I appreciated the visits to Bishnoi villages, a good opportunity to see rural life. I also appreciated the excellent room at the Taj Palace in Mumbai. As a single traveller I often find that the rooms I am given are inferior, despite the supplement charged; this was not the case on this holiday.
Ms Angela Carey"
"The astonishing moment of entering the Cathedral of Monreale and the drama of the golden mosaics. Stupendous impact.
