Azerai La Residence is set within a restored colonial building that was once the part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure in the 1930s and has since been transformed into an art deco-style luxury hotel. Alongside the original structure are two complementary wings that were built in 2005, which are more contemporary in design but reflect the art deco aesthetics of the main building. The hotel has a prime location on the banks of the Perfume river, with expansive landscaped gardens and a salt water swimming pool. An excellent restaurant serving both Vietnamese and Western cuisine, and a French-Colonial style bar, complete the experience.
