There is no real best time to visit Singapore – as the country is close to the equator temperatures remain uniform throughout the year. It is constantly warm and humid, with temperatures rarely dropping below 20C, and rain relatively steady all year round; falling for short periods at a time. Singapore is well-known for its cultural festivals, and in August there is National Day, as well as the Hungry Ghost festival; both of which are celebrated raucously on the streets.
