The Khogno Khan Natural Reserve is a spectacular wilderness of mountain, forest, semi-arid steppe and sand dunes. The area has been protected since 1997 and covers 46,900 hectares of giant granite mountains from the Paleozoic age. The area is wild and remote, and rare animals such as ibex, wolf and many varieties of hawk can be seen here.
