Tabin is located in south east Borneo, within the rainforest interior. It is an excellent location to experience one of the world’s largest rainforests and the unique flora and fauna that it holds. Local wildlife includes a small population of the highly endangered Sumatran Rhinoceros, Asian elephants, herds of deer, wild boar, red leaf monkeys and long-tail macaque. Near the lodge are several mud volcanoes and salt water springs that are an important source of minerals for the animals. During your stay at Tabin a range of activities will be on offer by the lodge, including trips to the mud volcano, jungle walks, fishing and safaris, all of which are on a group basis. The lodge also includes a visitor centre and video room.
