Benesse House is part of the larger Benesse Art site complex, incorporating a museum and a hotel, and entirely designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Accommodation is set in four buildings; the Museum, the Oval, Park, and Beach. In the Museum building, guestrooms are decorated with drawings, paintings, and prints created by the artists whose works the museum collects. Oval offers six more spacious, luxurious lodgings with large floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive views of the Inland Sea. The rooms in Park overlook the green lawn with the mountains of Shikoku on the horizon, and the Beach accommodation has eight suites a few steps from the water's edge and are perfect for a family stay. Hotel facilities include the Theatre spa by Natura Bissé, specialising in treatments with music and Neuro-Aroma and Hydro Immersion therapies, two restaurants, a cafe, lounge and art shop.
